Matt Lambros.

This last weekend I had the pleasure of meeting and photographing alongside Matt Lambros. Matt is best known for his exquisite photographs of deserted spaces. More specifically, in his continuing project Abandoned, he photographs in abandoned hospitals and in decaying theaters, titled After the Final Curtain. He has been photographing these forgotten historical monuments for over 10 years. He honors his subject matter in his impeccable compositions of the spaces. I feel lucky not only to have met Matt but to have seen his work because it truly is a peek into a world I would have never seen otherwise.

About katimennett

I am a photographer in search of stories. I am infatuated with the notion that fantasy is constantly a part of our reality. With wanderlust forever a part of me, I travel near and far in search of the spectacular.
